How do I find a trusted Reflexologist near me?

I’m lucky to have most of my clients come to me via word of mouth. However it’s great to see so many clients also visit me using Google’s search for reflexology near me. Thanks Google it really does work. But if you're not in Tooting / Balham / Streatham etc. in South London where I’m based, how do you actually find a good, QUALIFIED & INSURED reflexologist to a high standard near where you live? Here are 2 ways if you are in the UK to help you find a trusted reflexologist near you.

How to find a qualified & insured reflexologist near you?

1) The Association Of Reflexologists is an independent professional association for reflexology in the UK. This body offers a search menu called “find a reflexologist” Where you type in your postcode and you will receive a list of all the highly trained, fully insured reflexologists near you. We can only join this association if we have been trained to a hight standard in a certain way. Not from an online course only and then have all the correct qualifications and insurances. This also allows us to be able to offer receipts to clients who wish to claim on their health Insurance.

2) The NHS Yes amazingly the National Health Service have started to believe in the powers of reflexology. They’ve taken their time I know but this is a huge breakthrough for alternative medicine.

It’s quite a tricky way to find reflexologists in my area on the NHS website… so here’s the step by step process..

From the NHS home page click “NHS services” at the top

Scroll down to “Find other health services”

Click “R” and you will be taken to “Reflexology services” and type in your postcode. Again reflexologists on this site are only allowed on The NHS website if they are members of The Association of Reflexologists and the only reflexology association allowed to add their members.

Alternatively click here & it takes you straight to the service  https://www.nhs.uk/service-search/other-health-services/reflexology-services

I’m still waiting for my input to be listed as I only found out a couple weeks ago. But I will be sure to update this as soon as I see my name on the NHS website!

How to work with me if you can’t travel to South London

If you are still london based I have a clinic day, one day a month in this salon in Central London, 2 minutes walk from Bank which I find most people can get to.

Further to that if you are anywhere else in the world - Nearly 100,000 of my instagram followers are from America, India & South Africa so I have created an virtual facial reflexology clinic. Here’s the link to book It’s a lovely calming 35 minutes session covering face reflexology, face yoga and also a vagus nerve reset which calms the whole nerves system down.

Claiming on private health insurance.

I touched on claiming on insurance for reflexology sessions. Some private health insurance companies offer cash back incentives on complementary health treatments including reflexology. Does yours? This can be done with a receipt from your reflexology practitioner and it will be accepted if the practitioner is a member of an association & the membership number has to be listed on the receipt. Easy! These are a few of the smart ones that understand reflexology and it’s super power.
